Railroad

An electrified railway track runs to Umeå port from Umeå centre, where you can easily reach the Botniabanan and Norrbotnia line and the main railway line. It provides several advantages for those who wish to transport freight combining rail and sea transport.

The terminal in the port has two 400 m tracks and an asphalt surface of 55x400 m. Here freight can be quickly unloaded and loaded for further transport.

The total length of tracks in the port is 12 500 m (of which 5 000 m is electrified).
